Another Mother’s Day is on the horizon and I just wanted to spread a little cheer to everyone. Being a mother is a never ending responsibility and sometimes a thankless duty. For 33 years I have been blessed with having the most amazing mother in the world. I’ve watched her go above and beyond to make sure her children were taken care of. When I was in high school she decided to go back to college. She worked full time, and went to school at night to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from Shaw University. She then went on to earn her Master’s degree. I was there many nights editing papers before she submitted them. I still think my name needs to be on that diploma too lol. Deborah Johnson is proof that it’s never too late to finish what you started. When I became a mother she was there everyday. The months that Dallas was in the hospital, every day she got off work she would drive down to see us. Not because she had to but because that's what a mother does.Making sure her child and g
